Beatles' Rooftop Concert - 50th Anniversary

Although The Beatles only made few films, they feature in many other video clips and concerts of course. Therefore, discuss their videos here. So, we are calling this forum 'Act Naturally' for obvious reasons.

Beatles' Rooftop Concert - 50th Anniversary

Today is the 50th anniversary of The Beatles' rooftop performance which took place on the 30th January 1969.
The Beatles surprised Londoners with an impromptu concert on the top of the Apple Corps building at 3 Savile Row.
They were at it for 42 minutes before the police got involved and asked them to turn the sound down.
Below the building a crowd gathered and there was traffic chaos.
This performance footage was used in a good way as it is the climax of the film, Let It Be.

Originally, the 'Let It Be' project was called 'Get Back' which fizzled out.
Luckily, the film makers managed to recover enough to get something out of all the chaos towards the end of The Beatles' time together.
This rooftop concert was to be the last we would ever see of The Beatles playing together as a complete band.
It was 50 years ago today .............
